nah, I’d trust your local automotive mechanic.
Seriously? If it looks suspicious the general doc will cut it out and send off to a lab for test. It will be the lab techs that determine if it’s cancerous or not.

It’s fairly simple to determine if a mole might be cancerous.
Melanoma can look like a benign mole but it can be very dangerous.
The cancerous cells can spread through the lymph glands and produce fatal cancer.
Your GP will know how to advise you.

The only way to tell is for a pathologist to look at it under a microscope. There are a lot of doctors who can remove moles and send them off to be evaluated.
If you’re concerned about a mole, have it biopsied.
