Honestly, I don’t understand why people ask these kind of questions. Did you expect to get an educated answer? Just go see a doctor or something if you are that worried about it…

you sound like a mess you need help it could be impetigo or yeast infection either way you need a oral antibiotic to go along with a topical cream you can try gentian violet from the drug store on small spots to see if it helps good luck you need it

What you describe certainly sounds like a fungal infection which you have let go on far too long without seeing a family doctor or a dermatologist.

Medications
A doctor generally matches the medication, topical or oral, to the organism against which it is effective. One oral antifungal used commonly over the years, griseofulvin, is effective for treating tinea capitis, for example, but not candida and certain mold infections. The drug ketoconazole (Nizoral®) is effective against tinea versicolor but not against other fungal infections.
Many new broad-spectrum antifungal agents effectively treat a wide range of organisms. Thus, doctors can start patients on a regimen of antifungals without waiting for culture results. Three of these new antifungals are itraconazole (Sporanox®), terbinafine (Lamisil®), and fluconazole (Diflucan®).
Most likely the doctor will not do a blood test unless he suspects an underlying condition such as diabetes or a compromised immune system. More likely he would culture some residue and skin cells or do a flourescence test with a light. A dermatologist with any experience will probably just be able to look at you and determine what is causing your skin problem.
The way you describe it, it’s no wonder you feel uncomfortable in public. Please be aware that fungal infections are transmissible from person to person; fungi can also be airborne or reside on objects (fomites).
You need to see a doctor and should definitely reschedule your dermatology appointment. If you have to wait to access your dermatologist, then see your family doctor or internist to get treatment initiated.
I know of no homeopathic remedy which successfully treats human fungal infections.
You also need to ask your doctor about the steps you need to take to destoy any fungi in your home.
I have a very common fungal infection, tinnea versicolor which only gives me trouble if I go out in the heat or sun and start perspiring. It has been left untreated because the medications which treat it are considered to be too much of an overload on my liver due to all the other medications I must take for other problems. I already have to avoid the sun because of recurring skin cancer so it is truly not problematic; I have much larger health concerns.
As to being dangerous, the older drug griseofulvin is harsh on your system particularly your liver. As with any medication, your doctor needs to know if you are allergic to any medication and you need to ask about side affects and risks. No substance administered (traditional medicine or homeopathic) is risk free. The calculation which needs to be addressed is what’s known as a cost/benefits ratio. If I was suffering what you describe and had to take a broad spectrum antibiotic 2X daily for 2 weeks and one of the side affects was the potential for diarhea or constipation because the antibiotic also killed the benficial flora in my alimentary canal, then I would take the antibiotic. You can ameliorate that problem during the course of the prescription or address after the fungal infection is killed.
Your condition is causing you great discomfort and distress and on that basis alone needs treatment. Personally, the smell alone would have sent me to the doctor long before seeking answers on Yahoo.
